Know I understand why FMX plays such crappy music all the time. Its because you have no taste in music. Damn, your station makes me miss my hometown, Dallas. The first thing I heard as I returned to Tech today was your station and I nearly turned around and went back to Dallas. This town is likea a parallel universe of mullets and monster truck fans. Van Halen? Aerosmith? What the hell man? You ever heard of any bands that are actually trying to make relevant and innovative music? Probably not. This is the same town that still has no idea who Flickerstick, even after Bands on The Run. This is the same town that attracts Creed, Pantera and Journey. Why won't Radiohead come here? They know better. Why no Weezer? They know better. Lubbock is the place that rockers come to when they are headed out to pasture and its your fault Wes. Get a clue. Get some taste. And support music that isn't on TRL. You have a huge fanbase at your disposal that would love to listen to FMX, however at this point we listen to KTXT. Why not hook us up the same way you take care of the mullets? I promise you, we will spend more money on music than they could dream of, we're young, and have nothing better to do than use our money for music and booze. So think about our demographic. We deserve better music to accompany our college days.
*Note-This is my personal web page. So I have no problem calling this guy a dick. But I would like to point out a couple of things. #1. Why would KFMX promote exclusively to an audience that isn't here year round, and definitely gone after four years? #2. Sunday was the third time KFMX has brought Flickerstick to town (they didn't make it once, but that wasn't our fault). #3. Creed drew over 10,000, Journey 3-4,000 Pantera always attracts 1000's and Flickerstick did maybe a 1000(most of which who actually wanted to see the Bosstones), so maybe you should take a business or economics class. #4. I was in the front row for Flickerstick and since I didn't see anyone who looked like an asshole, I can only assume you weren't there. #5. Most importantly, since I can see how vehemently our fans have already posted to defend us, I would like to tell everyone that this guy does not represent the majority of Tech students. Most are cool, some like us and some don't, but most do realize that they are visitors and are very respectful of Lubbock and it's people. Let's just assume Mommy took away this guys sugartit when he left Dallas. #6. If you feel strongly about what you have to say, back it up with your name or email address. If I had anything to hide, I would have just deleted your post. #7.Lastly, I haven't even looked at these pages in months, now that I know you guys are checking them out, I'll try to update everything soon.

ya know, I was commin back from south texas the other week, down around kerrville. on the way down and on the way home, there was one thing i noticed. there are NO GOOD ROCK STATIONS IN TEXAS EXCEPT FMX. You would think a place like Austin, or San Antonio would rock the joint, but NOOOOOOOOOoooooooo. It really sucked. nuttin like channel surfing for 6 friggin hours. Hello My name is Michael Duncan I host a local Website for our show however this is not the reason for our email. We know of a gentleman here in Lubbock that has a true best friend in his canine. This weekend him and his wife were skiing and his mom was taking care of Wicket the dog. She was on Elgin ave. and the South loop when she was involved in a accident inwhich she needed medical attention. During the accident airbags were deployed scaring wicket into running. After escaping out the window and being chased by strangers he evaded them and now is lost somewhere in the hub city! He looks as tough as his owner, however if Wicket's emotional state is half of Bradon's then we feel he is in deperate need of reuniting with his owner. Good news!
